Abstract
Since 2003 the government of Néstor Kirchner had to persuade different sectors of Peronism, seeking to secure consensus and governance in the country. After defeating dissimilar sectors in 2005, obtained two years after the victory of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner as president. In this framework, since the conflict sparked by the increase in taxes on the agricultural sector in 2008, the government had to define a discourse recover certain categories of Peronism imaginary and validate their position within the ruling party and the rest of the society. This paper discusses some strategies of discourse in relation to references to October 17, in an interest to address the representations on a historic and foundational date for Peronism, which implies an interpretation of Peronism, and how these references may have a strategic use to legitimize the authority of the speaker. In the paper we consider the contributions of the French tendency of discourse analysis, mainly through the categories of convalidated scenes and scenography.
